SecureTape

SecureTape is a double-sided adhesive tape that is excellent for applications where the tag is to be securely mounted. SecureTape is used for mounting TagMaster ID-tags in car windshields and on most hard, flat surfaces such as painted metal and plastic materials. Tags affixed with SecureTape become very difficult to remove from the surface once mounted, making this a desirable accessory for theft prevention.

ENVIRONMENT

SecureTape is ideal for both interior and exterior bonding applications. It can sometimes replace rivets, spot welds, adhesives, or other permanent fasteners. It is durable and solvent/moisture resistant.

Consistency of Tag Placement is crucial to maintain accuracy, therefore it is recommended to standardize SecureTape placement as much as possible (e.g. Inside Windshield on Drivers Side) It is important to recognize “metallic windshields.” Windshields with “metallic” properties may impact the ability of a tag to be read that is behind the windshield. There are durable and reliable solutions available from TagMaster North America for installing a tag mounted on the outside of the vehicle and possibly in an inconspicuous location so as to maintain an esthetic appearance.
