Summary
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, NC – Tidewater Plantation, a gated community in North Carolina, chose a TagMaster North America solution to meet its RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) AVI (Automatic Vehicle Identification) requirements.
Challenge
Prior to implementing the TagMaster AVI platform, Tidewater Plantation had used key fobs to open gates remotely; however, the community required a system that prevented moving IDs from one vehicle to another or being shared with non-residents, in order to heighten security for residents and staff, and increase operating efficiency. Tidewater Plantation has 1100 homes within the community, accessed via three separate entrances.
Solution
In partnership with RHS Protection, TagMaster deployed a system of LR-6 XL Long-Range Readers and S1255 MarkTag Classic Tags, easily mounted inside each authorized vehicle. Residents and staff can now access their community hands-free, without waiting in vehicle queues or worrying about unauthorized entry.
Conclusion
Said Michael Furr of RHS Protection: “[TagMaster] were very helpful and efficient in getting new product on site and supported us very well, even well after the conclusion of the project. We were impressed with the performance of the equipment and the level of knowledge, support, and customer-care that TagMaster North America demonstrated.”
