TagMaster NA’s RFID solution and ACTS Essential software are ideal for 2 lane (entry/exit) applications looking for a simplified and cost effective vehicle access control solution with its own database. Sites with two lanes and no requirement for revenue control or multiple lane support are ideal candidates. We have provided these solutions for applications such as industrial mining sites, mobile industrial and construction sites, gated communities, condos, warehouse and forklift operations, casino VIP parking, and parking lots and garages. For future integration of a larger scale access control or parking revenue control system, the reader can easily be switched to one of our industry standard built-in interfaces (Wiegand, RS232, RS485 and TCP/IP) via dual booting to ensure a lasting and future-ready solution.
More about ACTS Essential
ACTS Essential is a reader-embedded access control software solution for the LR-series and XT-5 long-range RFID readers available from TagMaster North America. Because ACTS Essential software is reader-embedded, it eliminates the need for an external controller box. Only an Ethernet connection is required (for internet access, or without internet using a direct computer connection). The ACTS Essential software enables remote management and basic report generation via any standard web browser.

Hard Anti-Passback Technology
Combined with networked RFID readers, ACTS ensures RFID tags are read only once and cannot be read and passed back to other users. Integration with inductive loop vehicle detectors ensures secure lane control.
Schedules and Reports
Scheduling access to facilities has never been easier through the easy to use web interface. Set multiple gate schedules including holiday and weekend schedules. Reports include basic standard personnel, tag, event and real-time facility use reporting along with information association for an individual or tag.
Web-Enabled Interface
ACTS Essential’s easy-to-use web-enabled interface allows administration of the system from anywhere using any popular web browser. Using this interface, the user can perform configuration tasks such as: opening/closing gates or barriers, administering personnel and schedules in real-time and customizing up-to-the minute access reports.
